Do I have to be in really good shape to start at Syracuse Martial Arts Academy?

Getting in shape is part of the reason many people start a martial arts program! If you are currently out of shape, martial arts will help you get in shape fast. If you are already in shape, our classes will take you to the next level of physical fitness. Classes are designed to get everyone moving, increasing both your strength and stamina to help you achieve your fitness goals.

How old are your students? Am I too old to start Kung Fu?

Absolutely not! Starting students range in age from children age eleven to adults in their fifties.

Can I come watch a class?

Of course! You are welcome to come watch but you are encouraged to come try out a class.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. Come in and try any of our classes for free. (offer may vary).

How long are classes?

Classes are an 1 & 1/2 hour to 2 hours long.

How often should I attend classes?

You should strive to attend at least once or twice a week. That will help you build a nice foundation off of which to build. Classes are offered both mornings and evenings through the week to give you the freedom to choose classes that fit your schedule.

Am I restricted in what classes I can take?

No. You are free to take whatever classes you wish.

How much do classes cost and do I have to sign a contract?

You do not sign a contract. Everyone pays month to month. Automatic debit is also available. The tuition is $125 per month. That entitles you to any and all of the classes that Syracuse Martial Arts Academy offers. Private Lessons are available for a separate fee from Instructors.
